Can I get a refund?
Once you have enrolled in the course (either through direct payment or through an enrolment key) you cannot obtain a refund.

How can I pay for the course?
When you attempt to enrol in the course, you will be given the option to use an enrolment key (previously purchased by yourself or someone else), or pay to enrol without a key.
If you do not have an enrolment key, use the PayPal link to pay using an existing PayPal account, or using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex). The PayPal payment screen will provide an opportunity to enter credit card information directly, without using or creating a PayPal account.

Please note you must check your e-mail account for a confirmation e-mail to complete the account user registration process. If it is not in your In-box check you junk or spam filtered e-mail.
Read the confirmation e-mail carefully and follow the instructions.

How do I enrol in an online course?
Before you can enrol in any of the online training courses, you must first ensure that you have created an account on the FSM Campus. If you have not already created an account, please visit the entry "How do I create a user account for the FSM Campus?" Please remember that this must be your own account, in your name.
In order to enrol in a course, you must be logged in through your personal account (not an employer's, manager's, supervisor's or co-workers...it must be YOUR account).
Once you are successfully logged in (and you can see your name in the upper-right corner of the Campus), there are two possible ways for your to enrol:
For those who choose to pay to enrol directly, ensure that you have read all of the information and requirements for the course before you pay. some courses may require additional fees for exams or certification, and these are listed above the payment options for those courses. It is assumed that you have read about additional fees before you enrol.

What is an "enrolment key" and do I need one?
If the cost of your course is being covered by your employer, or as part of a class or program, then you can enrol in the course using an "enrolment key" rather than paying yourself. You would get the enrolment key from someone at your workplace or, in the case of schools, from your instructor, or possibly the book store. You will only need to activate the enrolment key the first time you access the course. Keys are valid for one enrolment only, and cannot be used again, or reset.
Enrolment keys can also be purchased through the FoodSafetyMarket online store. In this manner, you can purchase a group of keys for co-workers or friends, or even just a single key, should you prefer not to use the PayPal Self-Enrolment option.
The enrolment key is private - DO NOT share it with anyone.
2. COURSE INFORMATION

Can I communicate with other students?
Yes. While most students take a self-paced independent approach to the online learning, we have provided a "Chat Room" within the online training courses. These chat rooms allow learners to communicate with other members of their training group.
Please note that these are monitored chat rooms, where inappropriate postings will be removed and students can be expelled for repeated infractions.
Learners may also send private messages to other active learners within a course. To do this, the learner must click on their name in the top right corner, and select "Messages" from the drop-down. The "Messages" screen has a "Contacts" drop-down on the left side. The learner can select the appropriate course, and then a list of active learners will be presented.
Again, this communication is being offered for learners to have the ability to communicate with each other. Anyone caught abusing this tool (using abusive or foul language, spam, or soliciting), will be dealt with accordingly.

Can I take the course in a classroom setting?
Yes. Click this button to find a class listed publicly in your area.
If you are not able to find a class near you, or you would like to arrange a class for a group, you may request a trainer. Click on the request button below to fill out a form, and a representative from our team will be in touch with you within one business day.

Do I need to know a lot about computers?
You need to be comfortable using a computer to browse the Internet as well as send and receive e-mail.
